The name of this site is deliberately provocative. A large share of the research-chemical market sells peptides as oral drops, sublingual troches, and transdermal creams, with the implicit promise that the peptide works just as well that way as it does injected. For most of the peptides on this desk, that promise has no published human pharmacokinetic data behind it. This desk says so directly, compound by compound, rather than repeating marketing claims as if they were established science.

How to read this site

Each compound page opens with a short plain-English summary, then works through what the compound is, how it's thought to work, what the actual published research shows — findings, not folklore — and what people report using it for in research communities, always labeled anecdotal and never attached to a specific dose. Every quantitative claim traces back to a numbered citation on the references page, where the underlying source can be checked directly.

Where the human evidence is thin — which is true for two of the three compounds on this desk — this desk says it's thin. Where a compound has a large, FDA-reviewed trial program behind it, like semaglutide, this desk says that too. The point isn't to make every peptide sound equally promising or equally risky; it's to represent the actual state of the literature as accurately as possible, so a reader can draw their own conclusions.
